• Identify the root of the prospect’s tax problem by asking questions and listening to the prospect’s responses
• Inform prospects of what services they need to regain compliance with the IRS and then close the deal
• Follow up with existing clients to sell tax debt settlement services to those who qualify

Sales Consultant-Inside Sales Representative Job Specifics

Tax Masters is looking for the finest professional inside sales people to employ full time, selling tax representation services and tax debt solutions to people and businesses in trouble with the IRS who have tax debts they cannot pay. A firm understanding of the sales process and of selling services (as opposed to products) is a strong plus. We provide training.
Hard work and a minimum 50 hour week are expected. A great income and great working environment are the rewards.
Previous inside sales success experience and phone sales skills are a must. In depth understanding of effective closing techniques practiced to an art are required.
We pay a base wage or commission, whichever is higher. Benefits and paid vacation are included.

Primary Responsibilities

• Take inbound calls and analyze caller’s problem to find the best solution to help represent the prospect’s case to the IRS
• Quote standard services, write orders, and relay pertinent order information to customers
• Cooperate within a sales team to ensure team performance is in line with sales targets and business objectives
• Coordinate with other departments in handling client files and providing services to each customer
• Perform follow-up phone calls with prospects to reconnect and help provide them with the knowledge to make sound decisions about regaining compliance with the IRS and finding ways to repay their outstanding tax debt
• Maintain files of active orders and post activity such as change notices, client information changes, and credit changes as needed
• Prepare paperwork (third party verifications) to be given to accounting department for credit or debit to be issued
• Prepare information and documents for clients and secure agreements from prospects to hire Tax Masters as their tax representative

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• Previous inside sales success experience and phone sales skills are a must, preferably three plus prior years of experience in a sales environment
• In-depth understanding of effective closing techniques practiced to an art form are required
• Demonstrable track-record of success in maintaining sales quotas and achieving company goals and standards
• Documented success in sales, a clear understanding of the bottom line and strong leadership skills
• Experience with and knowledge of tax services and meeting customer needs
